Promoting responsible water stewardship through excellent and effective water education.
APW Student Assistant
I sit quietly on cold stone, feeling my heart rate finally slow. After a long hike up the valleys of the Catalina Mountains, I finally have a chance to take in the beauty around me. Relaxing to the blissful song the birds and creek orchestrate, I couldn’t be happier in this moment. The burble of water drifting by in creeks has always lured me, especially since I have lived in the dry, arid town of Tucson, Arizona for all of my life. Without this precious natural resource, my escape from the busy city would be less satisfying.
Currently, I am a student at the University of Arizona working towards a Bachelor’s degree in both Nutritional Sciences and Plant Sciences. After graduating from the University of Arizona, I plan to further my education at Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences and eventually become a Naturopathic doctor.
