The lessons in Healthy Water, Healthy People: Water Educator’s Guide engage students in discovering concepts of good science through critical thinking, exploration, and collaborative investigation into issues related to water quality and personal and environmental health. Through the use of the scientific inquiry process, the lessons translate the complexities of testing water quality into relevant skills that students can develop and practice in their community. Water testing kits and macroinvertebrate sampling kits are introduced at this workshop for use in conjunction with the water quality lessons.
