SCOTT COOPER MIAMI’S NEW SCHOLARSHIP IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS UNTIL NEW YEARS DAY
New applications are already being accepted for the next round of Scott Cooper Miami scholarships. Applications are due by December 31, 2019. The award winners will be announced on January 15, 2020.
The students will be required to submit an essay of 500 words or less on the topic, "How I Would Solve the Immigration Crisis."
With President Donald Trump’s executive orders on immigration and refugees creating intense exchange on both sides of the political aisle, Scott Cooper wanted to hear what the students had to say on the controversial subject.
What Does the Scott Cooper Miami Scholarship Offer to Students?
Scott Cooper wants students to excel in their field. He wants them to be the reason for change in this complex global economy. Young adults can only excel when they get proper education. This is why Scott Cooper is offering two students in North America $500. Canadian students will get 500 CAD. These scholarships are earmarked strictly for post-secondary students.
Scott Cooper believes that students from today’s generation are the winners of tomorrow. Scott Cooper believes that the ideas they have and the ventures they think about are the big deal. But there are a number of barriers that students face when they are trying to succeed. They have ideas but sometimes ideas just aren’t enough.
With the increased cost of education and the massive student loan debt facing students, the Scott Cooper Miami Scholarship tries to alleviate the burden. Scott Cooper hopes that when the students are in the position to give back to their communities, they remember the help they received when they needed it.
