Recharge the Rain

Arizona Project WET and Watershed Management Group are partnering in Recharge the Rain project sponsored by NOAA. Teachers selected for the cohort will participate in 24 days of professional development over four years in order to:

  • Develop and teach environmental literacy science curriculums incorporating systems thinking, NOAA tools, and citizen-science data
  • Learn rainwater harvesting techniques and develop engineering design units to engage students in the design of rainwater systems
  • Involve students and the community in the installation of schoolyard rainwater harvesting systems

Application

The Recharge the Rain Application will be open from 12-9-16 through 1-31-17.
